Trust is a gift. It’s something we give to people, to God. Anything given of oneself takes sacrifice. Trust is no different. To trust, especially in a relationship, we must say that we’re willing to give our entire selves to whoever it may be; God, our family, friends, loved ones—and promise that no matter what it takes, we’ll be there for them and try our best to never let them down. This also means trusting in their intention to do the same.
The questions we must ask in any relationship are, “How much are we willing to give?” and “How much will we sacrifice for others?”
